69TH REPUBLIC DAY WAS CELEBRATED ON A THEME: EK BHARAT SHRESTH BHARAT TO HONOUR THE DATE ON WHICH THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA CAME INTO EFFECT IN 1950. HON’BLE CHIEF GUEST, S. JATINDER PAL SINGH JI (CHAIRMAN OF THE SCHOOL) HOISTED THE TRICOLOR AND THE WHOLE SCHOOL CHANTED THE NATIONAL ANTHEM IN UNISON. THE SCHOOL CHOIR PRESENTED A TELGU SONG ABOUT THE VIBRANT CULTURE AND HERITAGE OF ANDHRA PRADESH. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY A RANGE OF PERFORMANCES SUCH AS PATRIOTIC POEM, SPEECH, BHANGRA ETC. CHILDREN FROM THE PRIMARY SEGMENT CAPTIVATED THE AUDIENCE BY THEIR ACT ON FREEDOM FIGHTERS. THE PROGRAM CONCLUDED WITH TANTALISING BEATS OF QAWWALI. IN HIS SPEECH THE CHIEF GUEST TOLD THE STUDENTS THAT THEY HAVE TO BUILD THEMSELVES INTO GREAT HUMAN BEINGS IN TERMS OF INTEGRITY. AND THEN THERE WILL BE A POSSIBILITY OF A GREATER NATION AND HENCE A GREATER WORLD. PRINCIPAL MAM ENCOURAGED THE STUDENTS TO INTROSPECT ON THEIR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND DUTIES AND MARCH TOWARDS THE BETTERMENT OF SOCIETY.
